Above are two images of our front yard. The one on the left is what one would see as she came around the bend and faced the house; it's from about 1999. I took the one on the right early one fall morning in about 2001 as I left the house.

Those that follow are photos of our yard, such as it is. The views are from our porch (to the right of the head-on shot above), looking south (yard35), west (yard38), and north (yard31). The first set (dusting of snow) was taken in March of 2005; the second set was taken in April of 2005. Some of them are a tad shaky, but they give you an idea of what we have to tolerate for neighbors.
